Barbarian: - Guardian, Protector & Defender Spirits: reverted to their old AI. Fortress: halved duration, doubled fire rate. Towers no longer look semi-transparent.
Druid: - Quill Storm: decreased starting quill targets to 2. Elemental: reduced effects. Idol of Scosglen: reduced effects. Cascade: reduced effects. Spore Shot: reduced effects.
Faerie Fire: trails now last only 1 second, tripled damage. Mythal: reduced effects. Necromancer: - Bane: slightly lowered cap to 75%.
Increased life gained per level. Paladin: - Increased life gained per level. Tainted Blood: now adds 15% defense instead of 5% per level. Retaliate: now has 100% chance to knockback, up from 75%. Brimstone: reduced effects. Colosseum: reduced effects. Debuff now looks like Amplify Damage, but isn't (so it IS stackable with Amplify Damage).
Sorceress: - Increased life and mana gained per level. Vengeful Power: now adds 25% max life, increased crush attacker chance cap to 75%. Other: - Lightning Wall: charged bolts (explosion missile) are now invisible. Guard Tower: no longer semi-transparent. Wyrd: reduced effects. FULL SET BONUSES (you don't need to re-find them!) - Scosglen's Legends: adds gives 15% chance to cast Fortress on Attack (up from 8) and +8 to Plague.
Vasily's Following: adds 30% chance to cast Glacial nova on Kill (up from 15), pierces 50% cold resistances and has a 20% chance to cast Javelin Nova on kill. Rex Vex' Embrace: adds +150 to energy factor instead of Death Coil. The Snake Pit Set: adds +150 life after each kill, increased flat damage to 250-1000.
Creed Set: replaced when 'struck' broadside proc to knife throw, increased chance to 50%. Reduced flat stats to +200. Vizjun's Devices: adds +8 to assassin skills, and +10% to all max resistances instead of normal resistances.
Increased heal after kill to +100. Witchhunter's Attire: adds +150 life on melee attack, increased elemental pierce values to 75%. Gathering of the Tribes: increased strength damage bonus from +30 to +70, increased earthquake on attack chance to 50%.
Big Game Hunter: now has 5% chance to cast Blast Wave on kill, and adds +66% faster run/walk. Spirits of the Nephalem: increased flat energy andstrength to 500, increased edyrem reanimate chance to +50%. Caoi Dulra: adds +2000 fire damage.
Rainbow Warrior: now has 100% chance of UA, and heals 1 life on striking. Satanic Mantra: adds +7 to all necromancer skills. Rathma's Empire: adds +25% CB, and +5% max resistances as well as 50% faster run/walk. Achilio's Wake: increased max damage from +200 to +500, increased reanimate chance to 5%.
The Towerlord: increased extra totems to +2, and minion life to +100%. Cinadide's Craft: adds +13 to bane, slow increased to 75%. Hadriel's Lore: increased Total Character Defense to +200%, Paladin Skills to +4, and added +75 heal after each kill. Malthael's Sanctuary: increased elemental pierce values to 100%.
Added +100% lightning pierce and spell damage too and a 15% chance to cast Supernova on attack. Imperius' Edict: increased all stats to +300, and avoid to +30%.
The Warmage: increased energy bonus to +100%, and adds +5 to sorceress skills. Zann Esu's Secrets: increased damage reduced to +50%, all resistances to +75%. Akarat: followers now have 50% ctc thunder hammer when they get hit, so careful with prebuffing! Inarius Secret Uberquest: minions now cast deahtstrike on death. Tran Athulua: amazons have 8% crushing blow now, 5% chance to cast arrowside on death. Character Specific Changes: this part of the list has not been compressed.

Blood Elementals now have 20% chance to cast Fire Cannonade on Death. Barrage now gains +4 arrows per level Hyena Strike: R; capped at 10% (down from 50%) Barrage: changed mechanics, new barrage density is high for very low time but leaves less arrows for a long period of time. Fire elementals: 50% Fire pierce every 10 hard point, 10% FSD per hard point Dragonlore: slightly reduced damage Balefire: increased damage Assassin Way of the Gryphon: slightly ncreased damage. Beacon: Now starts at 10% velocity +2% per soft point.
Shadow Refuge: Now has doubled total duration. Perfect Being: Now starts at 25% avoid, +1.25 per hard point Batstrike: Bats now get half of perfect being avoid bonus Psychic Scream: flee duration is 4 seconds up from 2, gains 0.2 second duration per point.

Bear Stance: now starts at 25 R; +1 R; per hard point, now capped at 100 R. Gets 5% extra damage per soft point. Stormblast: reduced weapon damage from 3/4 to 1/2 Overkill: now starts with 40 axes and gains 5 per hard point. Bear claw: now starts with no mana cost. All Spirits: start at 3 minions, they FOLLOW you now!
Guardian Spirits: 50% chance to cast Bear claw on attack, 100% chance to cast stampede on death Defender Spirit: 50% chance to cast retaliate on attack Protector Spirit: 100% chance to cast bloodlust on death, 1% thunderslam on attack Druid Elemental: now gains an extra elemental every 15 hard points. Hunting Banshee: now gains an extra missile every 15 hard points, and shows spirit amount. Freezing Gale: reduced base mana cost, slightly increased damage, reduced NextDelay from 3 to 2, now leaves a 'Lightning Arena'-alike circle that will stay for some time dealing cold damage. Tremor: base range is now 15 (down from 25) but increases by 1 per level, and max damage is 25 up from 21. Ferocity: reduced IA;S bonus.
Force of Nature: now (also) adds (some) flat elemental damage to weapon. Idol of Sc.: increased nova ranges, FRW starts at 0 (not -40), shoots 4 novas, reduced def bonus / stun / added ND to compensate. Pummel: reduced ND from 3 to 2. Quill Storm: reverted, now gets quills per level, removed magic damage bonus to compensate. Acid Fiends: now add all elemental damage instead of just poison.
Necromancer Embalming: Now starts at 0% Hp (down from 20%) but gains 5% hp per hard point (up from 4%). Ma;na regen reduced to 10% per level.
Famine: Now starts at 10% life leech +1% per point. Rathma's Chosen: doubled duration, minions get 50% velocity +1% per level. Talon's Hold: highest reanimate chance is 10% down from 60%, to reduce lag if maxed. Burning Veil: Now gains +0.4 seconds effect duration per character level.
Deathlord: now adds 80% FRW Paladin Plague: now grants 1% block chance. Blood Thorns: increased damage by 50%. Lemures: increased damage by 50%, they pierce enemies and added some ND. Terror Strike: added 100% increased base defense (150% base).
Merkabah: now starts with doubled duration. Paladin Scourges: now use crucify as main attack, and have 5% chance to cast Lifeblood on attack. Resonance: duration multiplied by 4. Searing Light: reduced ND from 3 to 2, changed damage type to physical, doubled range Ring of Light: removed Blazing Fury: replaces Ring of Light, buff that periodically sends fire novas that knockback and also buffs the char. Sunstonrm: now called Winterstorm, deals cold damage, changed graphics. Sorceress Summon Familiar: now gets extra summon every 5 hard points.
Miasma: increased damage. Nova Charge: now costs 200 mana, starts at 1 min duration, +20s/lvl. Hive: now costs 200 mana, starts at 1 min duration, +20s/lvl. Chronofield: now has doubled duration and halved mana cost. Firedance: doubled starting damage bonus and doubled damage bonus per level. Abyss: doubled damage, increased range. There used to be a dropmod where the item dropped always had perfect stats. How hard would it be to make one of those?
I believe it was called Perfect Drop mod (author sheercold) on Phrozen Keep: Follow the link in my signature for the latest version. Sets, rares, magics, and uniques drop at about the same rate from monsters, whereas bosses primarily drop unique items. Chests and rocks drop Perfect Gems and Runes. Also, there are a bunch of new misc items for transmuting purposes which adds a little spice and uniqueness to the gameplay. Anyways, the drops are completely randomized, so it's possible to get Short Swords and Hats in Hell. Rares don't have a level limit, so that's why most require lvl 20+ even in Act 1 Normal. It's not a bug.
I'm thinking of remodeling the towns for ease of access to waypoints and further points of the game. But that may come later in the year. I am also quite certain I will be making mods for Diablo 3 as well. Any other questions, send me an email. Perfect Drop Mod v1.06 (v1.13c).
Like most hacks, this one is spread by viruses in. Players download a program alleged to be maphack, or a trainer, or some other sort of cheat, and riding piggyback is this little script. It sits quietly until it's activated by another player with the master end of the program, and then takes control of the victim's computer. The script moves the cursor to drop every equipped item on the ground, before closing or crashing Diablo II. Victims lose all of their items, either to theft by the other player, or simply to decay on the ground when the game crashes. The following updates were taken from the page archives, and were written when this sort of program was new.
It's still around, though most players on Battle.net these days have learned a bit over the years, and know better than to use 3rd party programs. Item Dropper March 26, 2002 We've had a lot of reports lately of people dropping items, especially when using programs that were supposed to dupe. The following is from the Blizzard Hacks team in a reply to us about it, after we forwarded them a mail with an address to a supposed dupe hack: The program on the mentioned page basically will bring up your inventory screen, move over an item you are wearing, click to pick it up, moves off inventory screen and then clicks again to drop it. It does this to all item slots wear you equip items, it does it even if there is nothing in that slot.
However from the ones I have seem it doesn't touch anything in the lower part of the inventory screen. Once it has done this it will shut down your computer so you get kicked out of the game. From here anyone in the game can go through and pick those items up. The one on this page has been changed a bit so you now have to have the game running but older versions would ask you what resolution you are running the game in which is a dead give away. For those version you can run the program with out the game running and in about 15 seconds your mouse will start moving on it's own and the computer will shut off. Blizzard Hacks Team The moral of the story is that running 3rd party programs is almost always a bad idea, especially if they say they'll help you cheat; quite often they are just virus-infested, or trojans, or scams like this one.
There are also programs that will make anything you put into the trading window automatically click okay and transfer to the other player. Obviously the cheater has you DL that program and use it, saying it's a way to dupe, when they just want to steal your items with it. This and other trading rip offs are listed here. A reader sent this in today: A player offered the url of a program to dupe items. Out of curiosity, i went to the site, and tried it on a mule in private game. It required me to run the prog from the web site location. Further investigation revealed it is a simple automater prog made by hidden software.
It can use scripts to automate the installation of programs and perform other tasks. Quite funny to watch it used in this manner, as u have about one second to watch all ur items get dropped before computer lockup. Funny on a mule, not too funny for a hi lvl char to get their hard earned items stripped.

If someone says some program will do magical wonderful things for you with no risk or penalty, they are 99.9% sure to be lying to screw you, or they just don't know what they are talking about. This is true in life, BTW, not just on Battle.net.

Many NEW cube recipes to make your own items (original items, of course) and given the option to make them socketed, ethereal, or upgraded. New items for advanced cube recipes. They drop from all monsters and even chests.
All items are perfect. All armors drop with perfect defense. All runewords, uniques, rares, and magic items come with perfect stats. Runes have a far greater drop rate and appear mostly from Chests alongside with Gems.
Runes can easily be upgraded or bought from some NPCs if finding them deems too difficult Monster spawns are reorganized for Act 5 Some monster stats have been changed -ALL monster resistances were reduced so Sorceresses and Druids have a chance in Hell difficulties. Teleport works in towns & has reduced mana cost -Uber Cow Challenge - Normal difficulty only.
